The project “Jazz Stories” aims to bring jazz music closer to people, not only through playing, but also by telling stories about jazz musicians, the jazz history about what happens on stage when musicians play, and about everything that is beautiful about jazz.
This time, you will learn more about the theme of “How Jazz Was made” on The Jazz Stories Tour. They focus mainly on the 1930s and 1940s, ie swing and bebop, when jazz became popular music for the first time in America and the got into the ears of listeners around the world. They will gradually guide you through swing and the associated dance fever, bebop, the first form of modern jazz, and will also reveal the secrets of the creation of many jazz compositions.
The spoken word will be accompanied by saxophonist Martin Uherek, piano by Klaudius Kováč, bass by Róbert Ragan Jr. and percussion by Peter Solárik.
