The Tihanyi Manor House houses an exceptional exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the natural history exposition of the Central Slovak Museum (30 years/steps (to) museum). Every Tuesday and Wednesday there is a rich program for the mothers and dads on parental leave “Museum for the youngest”. Traveler Tuesday will welcome Ivana Cimermanova, who will present the picturesque corners of Well Hidden Slovakia. Sunday creative workshops are traditionally prepared for children. The Thurzo House will be open from 21st January to the exhibition Art Craft from Ancient Times to the Present, which will present art crafts of the past used from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages as well as craftsmanship of students from Hodruša Private School of Arts. The popular lecture series Meeting with the Past under a Green Vault bears the subtitle “Egyptian Spring in Banska Bystrica” guided by historian Veronika Dubcova, who will reveal the Secrets of the Ancient Egyptians Beauty.
