GREAT BEER PUB IN BARBAKAN
We have opened third Klubovňa, this time in the historical premises of Barbakan. Great beer, exquisite food and an awesome atmosphere. Can’t be missing in Banská Bystrica.
Design and interior
The third, Bystrická Klubovňa, is here for you offering an area of 290 m2, featuring 150 seats in the interior, 100 seats at the summer terrace. The interior is interconnected to the history of the city Banská Bystrica as well at the actual building of Barbakan. The place is decorated by old mining artifacts, historical photos and photos from the period of SNP.
The space of Bystrická Klubovňa is ready for lot of cool peaople. You can have fun by music in the area for music bands. A good beer parlour shoud feature “sport” entertainment as well and therefore not only pleasant seating area but also table football, darts and large LCD screens are to be found here.
Location
Bystrická Klubovňa is located in the center of Banská Bystrica, at Námestie Štefana Moyzesa. Therefor we hope that we will be close enough to all the people of Banská Bystrica.
Our beer
You can enjoy more than fifteen kinds of beers in Klubovňa. Laboriously draught beer, superior Belgian and British beer as well as our speciality Zlatý Bažant 12° tank beer which you can’t get anywhere else in Slovakia. Zlatý Bažant 12° brewed with wit is made for you by experts whose passion for beer and skills can’t be replaced by any modern machine.
On top of all this, we also offer our own and unique beer Klubovňácka 11°. We have brewed it also with you! In order to find out what beer you want to drink in the Klubovňa, we made a big beer survey. We had prepared three samples based on the results. And then, we had continually improved, modified, tasted and brewed three more. These were tasted, compared, and the best was selected by experts from the world of beer together with you, our faithful customers and beer lovers. The result is Klubovňa 11° beer. The beer which you can only taste in our Klubovňa.
We keep the beer chilled to the ideal temperature of 7-10°C all the way. For that we use a modern and transparent tank and barrel storage which is a chilled room with glass walls where there are ensured ideal temperature conditions for beer 7-10°C.
Our food
Our desire is to prepare tasty and quality food. Therefore, Tomáš Sika, being one of the best Slovak chefs, is going to take care of the kitchen and your taste buds.
What could be more delicious with beer than real grilled delicacies? Try ribs, chicken wings or pork knuckle. And it could be served with bread made in our bakery. Of course this!
Or chicken leg stew with paprika nad butter gnocchi and chives? You would swear it has just been prepared by your grandma in the kitchen.
