The cycle route starts at a large parking lot in the mountain resort of Donovaly. From the parking lot over the wooden bridge over the main road we continue towards the crossroads of the cycling routes at Polianka – Bully settlements. At this crossroads of cycle routes, we turn right onto the blue cycle trail no. 2558 towards Moštenica village. After we cross the Bully settlement, we enter the forest. After a while, we’ll have to manage a 150 m long steep climb through the forest, where it is necessary to push the bike. After we leave the forest, we arrive at the crossroads of cycle trails, where we turn right and continue along the blue cycle trail no. 2558 towards Moštenica village. We climb through the forest once again, it is the last climb on this cycle trail.
Subsequently, a beautiful descent follows through the meadow. At the end we enter the forest and join the wide forest path. We pass the National Cultural Monument of Kalište, up to the crossroads of cycle paths near the forest chalet. There we turn right and follow the blue cycling trail no. 2558 which leads along a wide forest road by descending about 5 km to Baláže village.
From there, we continue along the 2nd class road towards Priechod village. After 3.5 km we turn left at the crossroads of the cycling trails and along the narrow asphalt path of 2.5 km we get to Podkonice village, where our cycle route ends.
Tip. Our cycle route ends at the cycle sign-post located near the church in Podkonice village. From there it is possible to continue towards the Priechod village (3 km), Slovenská Ľupča village (7,5 km) or Moštenica village (3,5 km).
